Ziggy has not seen his owner in 2yrs because his owner has been back and forth to IRAQ. we were all kinda concern when Ziggy started barking hair raise on his back teeth showing but keith his owner step out of the car and in an instance ziggy remember who he was and ran and jump on him both were rolling on the ground with excitment. I was in tears to say the least. Keith stay for about 3hrs with ziggy and then he had to leave again. Ziggy is only 4yrs old.

I prayed this war will be over soon and all the servicemen families and their pets will once again be together again, in the meantine Ziggy and others will wait for their owners to return for them and take them home.

Oh how sad!!

On a happier note, My Nicky reconizes the people that had him before I had him, He starts hopping like he is on a pogo stick. Its too funny!!

Wow! What a great thing to do! And that those pups have such good memories! Maybe more that they are loved...

Knows my mother in law....axel was just 8 weeks when we got him and my mother in law was here for a visit...well he hops all over us and licks everywhere and we allow him, however my mother in law will not let him lick her at all and he knew when he sat with her not to jump up in her face and lay in her lap...so she left to go back home and just came back yesterday axel is now 16 weeks and darn if he didn't know when he went over to her, she said one time don't lick me and he didn't I was amazed at this. He loves her, she took care of him when we brought him home cause we went to work, and he looks for her sits with her etc.

I hoped thats the case that they are love, because someone brought up the case about puppy mills dog and abuse dogs if they remember the bad times. I hope they don't.

I also wonder about Miss Ella Clarie who loves my husband dearly but let my daughter walk in and he is yesterday news until she leaves, her owner was a single male but they had to be a young female in her life that she loved dearly at one time. I will never know because he was killed and right now his family does not want Miss Ella Clarie I am hoping this will change with time.

i know that my chi mix chi-chi remembers we visit sometimes and when i had chichi fixed her old little girl come over to bring her a bag of her favorite treats however she will not go to the mother she ignores her when they come to visit but the boy and girl and chichi go crazy all over each other but at the same time she is not upset to see them go she just walks them to the door and then goes back to her business
