| I don't think you are out there. I have only had mine for about 9 mths and I don't know what I would do with out her. I was very depressed and when she game into my life she gave the sunshine and hope that I needed.i would love to get her a sister but I think I need to wake until she older. raina |

| I agree - I think it's something about Yorkies! I've ALWAYS loved my pets, we've had Goldens and Shepherds, and cockapoo's, but Jackson is different. He's treated more like a part of the family than any dog ever, lol. I think I buy more things for him than I do myself, I take more photos of him than anyone, he's the center of my life and I love it.... going into getting a dog, I NEVER thought it would be like this. I've always been a dog lover but there's something different about Jackson.

| I feel the exact same way about my yorkies! I've always had pets, and while I loved them dearly, they were pets. But these guys are like my children. I even go out of my way to find words for them other than "dog." I don't like calling them "dogs." There's nothing wrong with the word and that's what they are, but it just has a connotation to it that doesn't fit my babies, my kiddos, my gang, my crew, my brats, my group, my children......

| Well if you are crazy over your yorkies then it must be contagious! I feel the same way. I had other dogs during my marriage but NOTHING compares to how I have changed when my husband brought home this tiny little thing called a Yorkie. I have never cuddled, sniffed so much, rubbed a belly, cradled in my arms, hand fed, slept in my bed, has too many beds for 1 dog, they have their own closet with hangers, clothes and blankets That is my life with Yorkies. My mom no longer things I'm crazy. She is actually considering getting a Yorkie for herself! I think I see pigs flying lol Gen |

| There's something very special about a Yorkie. I think it's because they seem to think and act like a two year old. Bud's not small, so I can't say I baby him because of his size. He's more human in his actions, understanding so many words and knowing what they mean. He responds to my thinking. When I talk on the phone and hang up he runs immediately to the window watching for company because most of the time someone is coming to pick me up and he understands that or the words I spoke. It's easy to baby a small dog especially when they react to your thinking and almost every move you make. So much like a small child. You love them so much because they love you so much in return. |

Without question, I have loved all my dogs. They were all special. But now that I'm older, there's no way I can express the joy and NEED I have for these tiny little ones. It sounds so pathetic, but they're my connection to life. | |

| Yorkie Talker | LOL i thought i just think, say and act like he is my baby because he is still a puppy.... this is the worst, and guys pls dont jump no me, sometimes i wonder if i will not love him as much when hes bigger and grown and not puppy cute anymore, everyone tells me thats not how it works and he will still be cute cuz hes small & i will still love him. LOL so im glad to see you guys still call your babies your babies cuz then that means i most likely will still love "my baby" when hes an old fart ![]() ftr i dont have any kids so maybe that has something to do with it. |

| agree with all of the above. yorkies are just different. i mentioned to my mother i was on the hunt for a carrier. she said i was too old to be acting like a starlet and that i'm obsessed with lulu! i chuckled and reminded her that considering the last time she said i was obsessed it was in regard to a human relationship i was far too slow in breaking off, she might want to look on the bright side!! she hasn't mentioned it again! just the other day i had lulu in her peace t-shirt and one of my twins walked in and said "awwwww....got a new tshirt, lulu? you are so cute! you're too human to be a dog!" he (yes, this was a boy...and one who considers himself "tough," too!) then proceeded to carry on a long conversation with her while i sat there thinking a little obsession aimed in the right direction can be a very good thing!

| Sounds like if we didn't have Yorkies we would all need to be in therapy!
