This is a tad bit off topic but........
I made a huge enemy out of one of the maintenance guys where I work. He and his wife were potty training their son and the little guy had an accident. This idiot took the training pants and rubbed them all over his baby's face. At least that's what he said he did.

Of course I was in shock but told him off none the less. I also threatened to call CFS on him. Several people heard me yelling at him and I didn't keep "why" I was yelling a secret. It got out all over the hospital and they guy was tormented by his co-workers. You can imaging what the nurses had to say about it let alone the MHU staff.

He hates me with a passion now. He no longer works here and I believe he is no longer married!

Bottom line - there are idiots all over the world that don't give a crap about the effect their behavior causes.

Under those circumstances, I do correct other peoples dogs too. That is because their dog is entering MY (or my furbabies) space. If you don't correct a dog in that situation, it could be dangerous. They will see themselves as dominant. It's just like if my kids are in the playground and another kid is hitting/pushing/kicking my child. Of course I'm going to say something to the other parent or child. You have to protect your skin and furbabies. Dora peeing on a sheet wasn't harming this guy in anyway though, and I was right there to deal with the situation myself.

OMGish! I hate when people tell me what I'm doing wrong with my dogs but to actually take it upon themselves to discipline them! I really like the way you handled yourself! Love the name Dora btw. She's a cutie!!
Unfortunatly, I have people in my family that think this is best practice when training thier dog.

He sounds like a real gentleman ( I hope you can hear the sarcasm dripping from my voice ) I can't believe people still act that way. I'm glad you were there to set him straight and hopefully he will think twice before ever trying that with any dog again.

Like when his dog (a huge 140 lb dog) use to dig holes in the yard, he filled it with water and stuck his head under the water until he was choking and couldn't breath. THAT made me sick to my stomache! Needless to say, he will never be welcome in MY home again, Missy (my 15 month old) didn't like him anyways Thankfully, my husband totally understands how I feel, and now thinks "his friend" is an IDIOT.

Thankfully my little happy-go-lucky Dora came through the whole ordeal completely oblivious to the fact that anything had happened.

It really is amazing to me how many uneducated people there are that own animals. No wonder why there are so many animals in shelter. People just suck~not sure if you remember but my neighbor kicked Bogey last year. I too went ballistic and my poor husband had to pull me off this guy! He too is no longer welcome in my home and we no longer even speak to these neighbors! I am so sorry that you were faced with this horrid person in you home and his uncalled for behavior.

Yes I do remember that, because I was SO angry at your neighbour for doing that to Bogey.

I could have *maybe* understood a little if he was really old and set in his ways, but this guy was my age (early 30's). I feel that he should have known better.

OH MY GOD!!!!! What a JERK!!!! Good for you for laying him straight! Who in the world would do such a thing to a child?! I've never ever heard of someone doing that before. I hope he's long gone from you're area...and I hope you're watching your back as he sounds like a psycho!!!!
