| Help with the cold General Lee is experiencing his first REALLY cold spell. We are in the mid west and those living there are aware that we are getting hit hard. He [U]will not[U] wear a sweater, coat or anything other than his harness. When we go out he wants to play in the snow and at time is covered in snow. I noticed that he will bow up in the middle when walking on ice or snow with hard ice under it. Aside from shivering, what other signs should I look for that he is too cold or any warning signs. We go out 5-6 times a day and he never wants to come in. Any input will be appreciated. |

| im in nebraska and going thru the same thing--winter this year is bad. maddie loves the snow but cant handle it long- even with clothes on. she will start holding up her paws and will lay down and not walk when shes gotten to cold (which sometimes is just a few minutes). i put shoes on her now and she likes them(she can stay out longer). i dont let her stay out long-especially with the wind chills droppin --no ones told her shes not made for this kind of weather, even though she loves it.
