| Yorkies get very attached to their humans, this is part of their breed personality. My only advise is to maybe try getting him out more with you and around other people for more socializing, so he gets used to you interacting with others. How old is he?

| Hmmm, sounds excessive. Have you had him in any obedience classes? Talking to a trainer and working with him would be a good idea. How you react to him when he does this could also perpetuate the issue.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Yorkies are very 'me' oriented and yes - can be jealous. I remember when we got Cheri (my 2nd and youngest) Chanel was very jealous. She wouldn't even look at me if I was holding the puppy and would get the most hilarious pissed off face...but neither has cried or acted out like you're talking about. Alot of people will tell you to ignore the behavior and if they don't get a reaction from you they may stop (like human kids) but I don't know .....You could try holding/talking to him when you're interacting with your kids - other children and pets etc and maybe he'll feel more secure ? He's still a puppy so you have time to try to change the behavior

| Your dog is resource guarding you. This happens a lot with yorkies and small dogs since their owners tend to be too close to their dogs all the time. |
