That is exactly what I was thinking. No wild bird would hang out on someone's arm. And that was a tiny deer. Poor deer. Not a nice video

Good eyes - I hadn't watched the video when I posted earlier because while I know nature is nature - it always bothers me to watch a predator in action no matter what the animal ....

The article you posted a link to was interesting but you're right - for someone to stage that IS sick. There was no purpose to it was there ?

It's not my idea of "sport" either, but it's not much different from Falconry - just bigger birds and bigger prey

My furbaby is only 4 months old, I ALWAYS have a hold of his leash! Hawks are all over this area! My vet informed me the day we got Ares that two yorkies and a maltipoo were carried off earlier that week by hawks that come down for the winter!!! Scared the crap outta me!

All of the stories and posts here on YT have convinced me that we will NEVER let our little one outside alone, even in a fenced in yard. Is just too risky with predators... human and animal alike
