Oh wow! First, I know I would have been in shock... but I think I would have gotten loud, too. I take that as an assault or at least animal cruelty. I would have yelled for security and made a report. It's not ok to do this to your puppy. It's not ok to do this to any animal - especially in public. It's not ok to let a child think that it's ok (his father). I'm sorry, but it makes no difference to me that they spoke spanish - I'm pretty sure that they understand English and if not - his dad did understand what he did was wrong or he wouldn't have wisked him off like he did.

I'm happy your puppy is ok. I hope he doesn't get fearful because of this.

I can not even begin to imagine how upset I would be with my child. I would have not only apologized to you profusely but insist my child do the very same thing. I just can't imagine. I have 3 kids and yes when they were TODDLERS there were times where they were too rough and I would make sure to correct them over and over until they understood not only not to do it but that it HURT the animal. I just can't believe some parents

I agree. I would have said something that wasn't nice at all. Is it bad that I know spanish cuss words? LoL. Just know that you will get your blessings from not retaliating.
