That does not mean they can't be shut down. Most puppymills sell through the net, or to brokers and pet stores. They can still be shut down for having multiple cases of selling sick puppies, especially if they are investigated and their breeding premises is found to be unsanitary, a health hazard and having animal cruelty.

| ![]() cody is fine now. But i am concern about his life expectancy to and that also scares me for when i do pay for the surgeries.. This is a BIG lesson learned from buying on the internet and if i can't do anything about it, I'm just going to educate those first time pet buyers. It's sad but when it comes down to it, I rather have cody in my life then to never have him at all. Thank you everyone though.
