| My groomer has his own shampoo and conditioner that has kept Troy fresh was 2 weeks now. Troy is soft easy to comb and smells awesome. |

| Shelby & Seymour get baths every week. We use Earthbath, Chris Chritensen, and SPA shampoos (I alternate) and then we use....... BIOLAGE detangling solution as a conditioner.... but only on the body, not near the face/eyes. It works great. Then in between baths they get....... a "butt bath" and a "weenie wash" We shampoo just those "special" areas and they are good to go!

| You've never used detangling spray? And Pic has such a pretty long coat! I don't use anything fancy. I bought a bottle of Perfect Coat Detangling spray from Petco. I tell you this 10 oz bottle has lasted me forever! i have a bit left and I bought it when Uni was a puppy, so going on 2 1/2 or 3 years!

We must have spoken to the same people. It really depends on your yorkie's life style, and where you live. All of Prince's vets said not more than once every 2 weeks, but I tend to use the "as needed" rule. Of course, there are grooming details that we do on a daily basis, such as face washing, teeth brushing, privates/tummy hair check and feet washing if needed.I do tend to bath him weekly during the summer when he goes outside more.

| YT Addict | I do too, but then I find sometimes that means he gets a bath twice a week. He just loves rolling around in the dirt and mud! and taking him to the dog park is like bath after immediately! I know it's too much, but the guy is FILTHY. It's disgusting. As far as Spray-- I use HOMEOPATH "Rosemary and Babassu" ENHANCE Dog Skin and Coat Conditioner. It's all natural, and organic and can be used in between washes to freshen coat up for shine and smelly goodnesS! |

| No I didn't know that! I guess that's why the liquid is no longer clear and is a bit yellowish? Still does the job though, so I'm still using it.

| I use HOMEOPATH "Rosemary and Babassu" ENHANCE Dog Skin and Coat Conditioner. This does smell SO good! My friend from Canada sent me some They get brushed, faces washed and eyes cleaned every day. Warm wash cloth and water. They get their teeth brushed a couple times a week (we are going to do better on this!) Used to use Petzlife but now I'm going to be using CET petpaste and ORA Vet gel wipes once a week. They get a bath every week. Both of my kids have very different coats so I use different things on each of them. I've tried a ton of different brands. Right now I'm using Nature's Specialties. I also use a conditioning detangler spray with brushings.

Thanks for the information! Do you spray this on her dry coat before you brush or comb? (Just trying to learn new things and I appreciate the help. )
