| jealousy Zoes puppies will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and she has been a GREAT mom ....still is but she has become extremely jealous of her babies...whenever we are playing with the babes...she will start to bark at us to play...she will do everything to get us not to show attention to her babies...she has been really good about letting us hold them...today i bought the babes some toys because they are starting to play and growl and when i put them in the box she went and took them all out and hid them....whats up with this....we really try to give her attention even more so than befor the babies....is this normal |

| Yes she's jealous, she wants to make sure she is still your baby. They are just too cute.

| It is not any different than if you brought another puppy home. Yorkies are very sensitive, you already know. She has been the only baby for all of this time and now she is feeling threatened. Same reasons I never would have thought of bringing another puppy home when I had Muffin. I knew it would have broken her heart. Some are more sensitive than others, of course. Perhaps you could include her even more.

| awe.. she is trying to protect them. Maybe in another week or so she will gladly let you play with them? I can see why she is trying to keep them to herself, I am sure they are too cute!
