| Ginger has a slooooooooow growing thin coat. I used to try to grow it out, but snow, allergies, groomers who didn't follow directions, and the joy she finds in rolling in mud, dirt, and playing in the swimming pool have won out and now I keep it pretty short. With the thin, silky hair it does lay really flat when short, so I leave it about an inch long and it lays nice. Good luck whatever you do!

)........Hey, maybe I should have called him Yanni lol...I've got to find the usb cord for my phone, as that's where all the pictures are (in my phone)...I'll get one up soon, hopefully, of Apple and Buzz together...they soooooo love each other, although Apple is very bossy...Buzz is so good to put up w/her...I keep telling her, that when he finishes growing, she's going to be sorry she wasn't a little more benevolent w/him lol....Oh, but they're such great friends... | |

| Fancy has a thin, silky coat as well and it is growing soooo slow. She turned one Sept. 29th and I was hoping it would be longer by now. I don't cut her hair other than a little bum trimming. Her top knot is so thin - I rarely put her hair up because everytime I take it out a few hairs come out too, hair that she don't have to lose! She never gets any mats so I only have to run a brush through her hair to straighten up her part down her back and smooth the hair down. Maybe one day she will have a floor length coat.

| really? Ya it deffinietly feels like a wirey coat. Is that normal? Will it always be like that? Both of her parents had normal soft cotton coats..... I think she is the cutest thing ever and I don't care what she looks like, I am just curious! |

| Hi..yes my Dustie now 9 months has a thin coat as well..and fairly slow growing..he is going grey very quickly though..so I think it will be fine and silky..He never seems to look tidy though..the minute I have combed his coat out..he goes and rolls all over the place and looks even worse..what are they like lol.. I keep his head hair fairly short..and don't put any topknots in at all...!!! but his tail seems to be growing quite long and when he lifts it up..it looks like a multi coloured fan..Chris.x

Derby's hair is thin, slow growing, and coarse. Dare i say it seems wavy? or maybe that's how it looks growing out... it curves, not kinks! curves... It also gets matted easily! My husband gave him a "shave" a week after we got him to "get him use to trimmers" since we've been trying to groom him ourselves! Um.... 4 months later we finally have some hair! Not much though. I wish it would grow, i want to see it! Be able to pick a hairstyle that works for him... My husband trimmed around/under his chin because he wouldn't stand how knotty/matted Derby's hair was and how scraggly it looked. Bah.... I don't know what to do with my little guy's hair!! | Chloe has thin hair that seems to take forever to grow. Her ponytail is a mere sprig on top her head but on the up side she never matts and is very easy to care for. I was so angry when I took her to the groomers last time ( new groomer at the shop) and she misunderstood and shaved the hair between Chloe's eyes !!! That took forever to grow long enough for the ponytail , and now I have to start all over with the crazy fly away hair .
