Fancy used to do it all the time. She left it out so long at times that it would get hard and dried out.

My o My....all the beautiful furbabies here....it's a place that makes me smile for sure!!
Lucky's tongue sticks out when he gets super excited when playing!!! And I just love that!!!!

My Little Lea sticks her tongue out when she sleeps and sometimes when she's awake. Our 2008 Christmas card is so funny because it looks like she is purposely sticking her tongue out. (yeah... merry christmas)

Bear LOVES sticking his tongue out! I think he's pretty smart cause he does it when he's begging and wants to add that extra cuteness! He also does it randomly or when he's really happy. Sometimes I catch it sticking out while he's sleeping. He's been doing it since we got him and we thought he might grow out of it but I love that he didn't! You can see it in my profile pic.

Melody is the champ on that lol, I think because when she is up and she has her tongue out we crack up, and she thinks now is (gracia) funny

and some can't help it ( Stanford the toothless wonder). If I get one more comment from a stranger asking if he is "retarded" I'll pop 'em.

What does work with this (and other rude questions) is calmly saying:
"What on earth makes you ask that" in a very nice tone.
They usually clam up and move on. LOL

Reno's tongue is out most of the time. Sometimes further than others but out none the less. Since having some of his teeth removed it now sticks out to one side.

About the only time it's not out is when we are riding on the motorcycle.

When anyone comments about it I tell them they are lucky he cannot talk otherwise he would tell them what he thought of them, rather than just sticking his tongue out.

Maddie's sticks her tongue out ever so slightly when she's ready for some trouble. It's just too cute. Wish I could cuddle that little baby.

Yes, I think it is normal because my dog "Peanuts" has done it all his life (10 years) People comment on how log it is as well. I always thought it was cute.
