and some can't help it ( Stanford the toothless wonder). If I get one more comment from a stranger asking if he is "retarded" I'll pop 'em.
What does work with this (and other rude questions) is calmly saying:
"What on earth makes you ask that" in a very nice tone.
They usually clam up and move on. LOL
