| It's 1 degree here right now. Yes, you read that right, ONE, lol. We're supposed to have a high of like 12 today. I took Galahad out this morning in his jammies with his coat over them. The ground is frosty, no snow yet though. I'm still waiting for his boots to come in, they were purchased on 11-16.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Tuffy gets layered when it's cold out; we use 1 size larger sweater if it's REALLY cold on top of several others. He doesn't stay out more than a couple minutes. We were in OK a few days last week & the poor little guy just about got knocked over by the gusty winds! So far, no luck with the snowshoes; not to threadcap but hints would be welcome! Sherry |

| My Boo LOVES the snow...i usually just put a parka on him to keep his body dry, then when we get inside put him on a towel and blow dry the snow chunks that stick to his legs...he LOVES that he can get blow dried without having to have a bath first! |

| Thanks for all the suggestions. While the temp does get cold here, it's pretty dry. Now cold is cold, but 25 degrees back east feels like below zero here. That damp air just goes right through your bones. I think I'll dress him based on how I feel, realizing that he would have some extra insulation under whatever I put on him. My goal is to put a doggy door out to the deck on the second floor. I'll have to reinforce the railing so he can't get through. I would let him go outside into a fenced yard I would build. This would be ideal, but the little guy would probably be a snack for a coyote. |

| I have an actual hoodie with fleese on the inside that I put on Nicky when it is cold out, This is my first winter with him so we really have yet to be out in the freezing cold! last winter he was to teeny tiny to be out for too long so I just had him go on wee wee pads.

| Mine are in full coat, but some of them have very thin coats. They learn to pee fast. |

What is a pet-a-potty?? It sounds funny.. lol I can't believe how cold you guys are in different parts of the country. I'm freezing in 60 degree weather. Little Breese requires her sweater and sometimes she's still cold then comes the blanket. Would it be because she's 3.6 lbs.? Punken is fine, she never gets cold but she 5.5 lbs. All of you keep warm and by all means take care driving in the snow. Bye for now, Kathleen... Mom To My Little Girls: Punken Pie Breese Be Be My Lil Ol Tuffy... RIP | |

| Madison wears sweaters, and pjs. She also burrows under blankets, (which I always have laying around for her) when she gets cold.
