| I don't use a frame with mine....never had to. Although, my pups at times think they are something to play with and move them around their play area.

| I would love to try the washable ones because my "canine paper shredders" have now started to play "tug of war "with their deposable ones. ![]() However, the washable ones are so expensive! I sew, so therefore, I hate to pay high prices for something I could make! I hate to sound cheap, but even the $4 ones have high shipping charges....and I hate shipping charges, that's why I don't do Ebay much anymore! Could someone please tell me how the washable ones are made?...Such as, what fabric is used. I though about making some with pre-quilted flannel material, but wasn't sure what to put on the back so they would be leak proof, as well as, washable.

Believe me I'm cheap, I make all my doggie beds, crate covers, show bows, etc. Anywhere I can cut corners I do, pee pads just weren't worth it to me. Mine did last through the countless washings.
