| Here's one thing I've done. My mother-in-law (and after Thanksgiving it turns out my mother too) can't resist giving dogs food from the table. In the past I found out after one of our visits (where I wouldn't allow it) that I had really hurt her feelings. So now I bring a bag of "approved" treats to the table and tell her if she has to feed Sadie from the table, please use the treats I provide. After we get home I still have to get Sadie used to the idea that she only gets fed at the table by Grandma but at least I don't have a sick baby and a large vet bill to go with it! |

| OMG'sh, on that note, I won't be having any poinsettias, either...I think Wylie' Mom has a sticky about dangerous foods and things, and it's time to revisit that information... |
