Sending prayers for XuXa and mommy too! Lola will be going in Wednesday for the same thing, and I'm already a nervous wreck. Let us know how she does.

You will be in my prayers right along with Cookie. My Daisy will be spayed soon. Ohhhh, how I dread it. She is only 2.8lbs.

I'm feeling some angst, too. A week from tomorrow, Sydney is getting spayed. She'll be turning six months the day before. I'm very nervous because the breeder said don't spay until after a year. The vet said no, six months is the time to do it so they can also remove any remaining baby teeth. You just don't want to make the wrong decision.

My prayers go out for both XuXa and Sydney! I completely understand how you are feeling, as my Rio was just spayed 2 weeks ago. She is just under 9 months old and weighs only 2.6 lbs, so I was very scared about how her tiny body would handle the anesthesia and surgery. Thank God Rio got through it all without any problems at all and is recovering nicely. She had 4 baby teeth pulled as well.

Just know that spaying your babies will be so much better for them in the long run. No pregnancies, no mamary cancers, no male dogs trying to get at them when they are in season. You've made the right decision and your furbabies will be fine!

I dropped her off this morning and she was shaking so much and her little eyes would not leave my sight. I wrapped her in her fleece blanket. I feel so bad. But this needs to be done. She is 10 months and has not come into heat thank goodness.

I hope the day flies by for both of you. Poor baby girl, I'm sure she will
be fine and I wish her a completely successful surgery and a very speedy
recovery. Will watch for an update.

Sending prayers for a succesful surgery and for the day to fly by. I know how worried you are. I was that way when Bogie was neutered and Jada had her dental.Will be anxiously awaiting an update.

Just got a call from Dr Hawthorne, XuXa is out of surgery and wide awake. She is doing great. He said she can come home after 3pm. Thanks for all your prayers...
