| Bella doesn't mind wearing clothes. She seems to like putting on sweaters when she is cold. We had a dress for her an Thanksgiving and she didn't mind it at all. We only dress her for necessity, warmth. So, I think she knows she is more comfortable and doesn't object at all when we dress her. We started with her very young after her spaying surgery with onesie to keep her away from the stitches. I think she also knows she's going outside for fun when she gets a sweater on and that helps, too! |

| Jackson doesn't wear clothes 90% of the year, but during these cold months... I do put him in a coat, shirt or hoodie depending on the weather. Not 24/7 but if we make a trip to the park in the cold or something, or are outside for long periods of time. As a puppy, he HATED clothes badly so I never made him wear them last year. This year, he doesn't really seem to care and will willingly let me put them on him without a fuss so I don't feel so bad!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Roxy loves her Snuggie at night. Brings it to me every night before bedtime. She likes t-shirts/sweatshirts/sweaters as long as I cut off any bands on the legs that fit closer to her legs. The bands seem to fall at the wrong place or feel like it's restricting her leg movements which she does't like. A few of them ride a little high on her neck, so trim them a little deeper & she's fine. Since it's gotten colder she seems to want at least a t-shirt during the day too. Haven't tried her coat yet so don't know what to expect with that. Doing all the dressy up things isn't a big deal to me, so I'd be fine with going naked except for outside when it's cold. But if she feels more comfortable with something on, that's OK too. I can see where the long hair can be an issue though. When I do put clothes on her she tries really hard to be helpful, raising her paws for the legs & lowering her head for something to go over it. Too cute!

| Frimousse and Mollie Jade like wearing clothes . I don't know why ,but when one of my friends makes dresses for them , they refuse to wear them and the dresses don't live long . |

| Riot used to hate them and run and hop around like crazy trying to get them off. but now he doesn't mind unless it's something on his head. Sometimes he'll run when he sees me coming with the clothes but once I get him he'll climb in my lap and 'help' by lifting his paws and staying still.

| [QUOTE=Julz;2895770]I don't know if they "like" clothes, but none of my Yorkies act irritated by wearing them. They don't act phased in the slightest. Putting clothes on a puppy or an adult for the first time will take some adjusting, that's for sure. Puppies wearing clothes for the first time remind me of those fainting goats lol.[/QUOTEOMG, I wish I knew how to put those laughing smilies on a post. I know I'm tired at this time of night but I am in tears laughing so hard at the thought of those "fainting goats"! That and when we put booties on them, they act like they can no longer walk or else they do the really high stepping march! LOL |

| Belle doesn't mind wearing clothes unless we are having our little style show and trying on more than one outfit. She gets a little goofy, waiting for me to put a leg in and then when attempting a second leg, out comes the first one. She looks so cute in dresses but mostly wears t's and hoodies. I have to tack the hoodie to the back as it falls over her head and she can't see. She doesn't seem to think running into the walls is as funny as I do. I did buy her a girlie winter coat. It's pink with black fur around the hood, black bow on the back and it ties with 2 strings that have black pom poms on them which she assumes are toys that come with the coat. We'll see how long they stay on I do think we dress our furbabies for us more than them but here in Minnesota we need to keep them warm. Now if I could just figure out how to get a bow to stay in longer than 30 seconds we'll be doin' good. |

| I think it's really cruel to put more than a jumper on your dog. (Only if this is needed for comfort and safety.) Shoes and little skirts are, IMO, cruel.

| First, a confession. When I first joined here, I thought you guys were NUTS putting all of that stuff on your dogs. I even thought it bordered on cruel. I forget how I exactly fell into it. I think it was my daughter who first started buying things for Mika. Then of course, being a good grandmother, I went beserk trying to show the daughter what REALLY looked best on Mika and buying her stuff that didn;t come from Target. Then of course when Maya came along and Mika was in Atlanta, I fell into the my yorkie has more clothes than your yorkie trap. Then they BOTH ended up back with me and I fell into the my girls have to have matching cute stuff trap. Now as for my girls themselves and the outfits, they get excited when I pull one out because that means we are GOING SOMEWHERE, and for that , they put up with anything. If I could say there is a part that they don't like it is the sound of the velcro when I am taking them off, that kinda spooks them and they jump. Also it is not very pleasant if some of your hair is caught in the velcro, but as for the clothes themselves, they never seem to act like they even know they have them on.

| My Xavier prefers to wear clothes. He will actually fight with you whenever you undress him! He literally will grab his clothes out of the laundry basket and try to put them on himself! I need to get him a pair of little rain boots because in WA, the ground is almost always wet. His little feet need to be protected!

| It's amazing how they seem to *know* how cute they are. My Terry is a rescue yorkie mix, and he is such a dope. My cat struts around as King of the Castle, and Terry is his loyal jester. Walt would beg me to put him in a little crown if he could talk. We already bought them each little indoor kennels that are for royalty. I'll try to upload some pics of Terry's eating bowls..Just wait until you see!
