Gen, you are such an awesome person. Although bittersweet, look at all that you have accomplished since Cookie has been missing. A lot of good has come out of it, but I still have hope that you find Cookie.

Geeze! yes it does. Now I understand why these people do it. The feeling I get when I know the pet was reunited is very hard to describe but it is GREAT!
A lot of things have happened since Cookie has been missing and my husband told me today that so much good has come out of this that he asked me if I wanted to start some sort of rescue group or something to do with missing,lost or stolen dogs. There is nothing like that where I live.

I called the owner of the yorkie that was found 12/31/09 and he was so thankful and told me to give a big thank you to my husband for calling the cell phone again. He said that these little dogs are like kids. He said he really hopes that we get Cookie back too. I'm getting good with estimating ages too. I was curious to find out how old this yorkie was. I figured 7-8 yrs old. he told me that the yorkie is a little over 7 yrs old.
If the owner would not have been found I would have taken him home and called the FL Yorkie Rescue .
He was SOOOO sweet. But he was terrified. I carried him and he would freeze. But he would jump on the sofa and curl up with the lady that found him it was adorable to see.

I was out today and saw my posters everywhere and they held up perfectly with this rain.

Gen - I just came on to see how things have been going and to check for any updates on Cookie. I was so hoping that the little male that you went to see was Cookie. Sad to hear that it wasn't but glad to hear that you found his owner. It has been a wild roller coaster ride for you. I think your husband might be on to something with the suggestion of the rescue group. Someone else said it in an earlier post, you are not finished with your work.

I still hope and pray for you, Cookie and your family. I hope that 2010 turns into a great year for you!

Hot on a trail! I answered a Florida found dog ad. I described the breed, and a good description of Cookie including the front teeth thing.

They want a photo. I sent several. Could it be the found dog has missing teeth and they just want proof of his appearance? I told them about his chip but didn't give the number. I hope that's next.

Oh dear. We have two trails now, let one of them be Cookie, please.

False alarm on one. Funny how you can say you're looking for a Yorkie, provide a description, and they ask for photos. Then they say it's a Pom.

I'm disappointed but there's one good lead left.
