As a side note, my wife just came running in and said, 'There's a poor little kitten out limping in the snow!' Right now that kitten is eating all of Tink's food and into Cindy's. Reesie can't figure out how there's something here smaller than her. Gotta find a cat rescue now, no room here for another mouth no matter how small.

Oh come on now how much can a itty bitty kitten eat.:) whats one more.

My daughter is trying her best to get us to get one, but after a cockatoo (bird) and a horse that she had to have and left here after she got married we have held out, but only because of the foster big dogs we have now would not let a cat stay here.

This little kitten is definitely hurt, maybe a broken right rear hip, it's got a limp. Tink is pissed that there's something else eating her food and Reesie is beside herself, can't figure out what to do with it.

With all of the little ones that Gen has rescued while searching for Cookie, this should be the rescue thread. The poor little thing likes me, and makes those strange outboard motor sounds that happy cats make.

Sounds like to me you have a new member to your family, think of it this way she or him will keep the mice away when it gets older.

I haven't been on here since Friday and prayed that when I logged in there would be a happy message about Cookie.

Oh please please let Gen get a break and let this be the lead.

Still hoping and praying for some good news!!!

I have not posted as often and I am so sorry.
I just feel so let down sometimes and I can feel how anxious and hopeful that this is Cookie.

The woman keeps me updated everyday sometimes 2-3 times a day.
She is not well herself and has some serious health issues but she will not give up until she finds out once and for all the exact apt # or at least a car license plate #

She has been looking for a small rescue pet to adopt and I am going to do that for her if this turns out to be Cookie. She says this would make her year to have a companion that she can take care of. She lives alone and has not gotten a pet since her only pet died.
I have constant reminders of Cookie several times a day. Yesterday I had to work at a business palooza. It was free advertising for any small business and we desperately need that. I was there but my mind was not.
I had to go to the store and pickup candy to put on a dish on our table and I am hearing the store radio and the radio hosts are talking about some person called Cookie :( The whole time I was in the store I kept hearing it " We have Cookie here today!" "So many people are interested in Cookie so Cookie is here today on our show!" I just wanted to leave as fast as possible.
I kept checking my cell phone to make sure that the lady had not called me.
If she would have called during the work hours that I had to be there, I would have left my table in a heartbeat and go get my baby.
I keep praying that someone she can get the yorkie on video or picture. I can ID my baby by picture.
I can id it by video seeing how the yorkie walks. Cookie always walks like a little drunk man. If you call him to come to bed. He walks slowly with his head down. I always made fun of him telling him " Are you falling asleep little man?"

A lot of things could have happened since I went there. Someone might have told them and they gave the dog to another person.I am hoping that he has to see a vet very, very soon and they take him or surrender him ...something...anything!

Vets are aware or will be aware by Tuesday that there is a witness that knows a person has a missing Yorkie and is in that area to PLEASE keep their eyes peeled.

I have thought of several things that should be changed as far as polices for every vet or emergency hospitals.
I know it would be a pain in the butt but I think that Vets should now
snap a picture of a new pet patient and staple it to their file.
I know dogs and cats change but a once a year picture to replace the previous one. This way even if the "pet owner" says that this dog has different name. The vet will have a picture and someone like me could ID that dog.

Just a thought.

If this turns out to be Cookie I will meet up with this woman in person and give her the biggest hug

This is just so heartbreaking. Praying that God will guide you to Cookie. This woman that is helping you needs a big hug.

How many apartments are in this building? Geez, I sure do wish she would just walk the dog already so hopefully you can ID it as Cookie or not. This waiting and not knowing must feel like torture to you Gen. What can we do as a whole other than pray? Frustration has taken on a whole new meaning. Wish I were there to help "watch", wish I were able to do something to help, I wish Cookie was home.
