my little yorkiepoo I was searching petfinder and craigslist for a yorkie or yorkie mix or even poodle, as my hubbie is allergic. and i found this little lovie!! my dad took me on a road trip into the country to pick him up. the minute Mindy brought him out for me to see, i knew i was taking him home. he's so adorable, and sooo smart, and loving. He's got a great story, and it proves even more that he was meant for our family. Mindy, who was putting our pup on craigslist, said that her mom's dog had puppies, and poor thing for some reason didn't open the sacs, and my little toughie is the only one to survive out of a litter of 5. she had him at her place for about a month, but i have a feeling he was being bullied by her other dog, though i'm not sure. he's really scared of bigger dogs. He's 7 months, with sweet black curly hair, and a sweet little nose. My hubbie named him Smokey... and i joke around calling him Smokey Bones... lol. like the restaurant.

i can't wait to get him groomed and everything. he's a bit scruffy and i can't even see his eyes, lol. he's such a good little dog. i actually don't seem to see much yorkie in him at all, except he seems to have a smaller yorkie nose, which i will love. who knows, he may be a total mutt, but i wasn't really looking for anything more than a loving pet, and something that could handle my crazy toddler. lol.

thanks so much everyone. i'm so glad to be able to come here to find out more about taking care of this goofball. this weekend, he has really started warming up, and acting like a puppy, and not a little shy old man. lol. and he peed on the newspaper last night! woohooo! he does a pretty good job of going outside too, but i want to get that rascal dog box for him. i'm very excited about litter training him. so far, he's learning to only go in his room, at least, so i'm sure it won't be long after i get the cool litter box. he really wants to please me and do the right thing.
