| I am soooooooooooo happy with Coco. She is just as perfect as can be, with temperament, size, personality and breed standard. She is another tiny little tot that is perfectly healthy. Like Jen's little Katie, Coco has never had hypoglycemia or other health issues related with the tiny babies. I'm sooo happy with her and she was also $1200. I think OUR babies are priceless but when you wanting to buy a new puppy, they are not YOURS yet, so it's easier to walk away and keep shopping for a better price. I think $8500 is wayyy too much for a yorkie puppy only because I know that alllll yorkie babies are precious but I don't have to make myself broke to get one. I can get one that looks just as nice, is just as friendly for a lot less. JMO though, but I guess if I had the money I might not hesitate to pay that if I really felt attached to him/her.

| Kim, I think everyone on YT thinks their own baby is priceless! I wouldn't take any amount of money for Lexy and would pay every dime I have to have Gracie back! It is different, though to pay large prices for puppies we don't already know and love, though. You are right to a point about prices being an individual choice though. I just think that as puppy prices get very high, more disreputable people will breed the tinies regardless of their well-being. That's what worries me.[/QUOTE] This scares me also.

| This is definitely a case of price gouging because it is a tiny! This is kinda mean to say but I dont think that pup has a very cute face at all. I have seen much cuter ones for much cheaper.

| If a breeder takes a dam that is 3.7# and sire that is 2.3 lbs like this breeder does, I think it is safe to say that the expected outcome is a very small sized litter. If you're purposely breeding for tinies, I'd assume, in my honest opinion, that they're attempting to breed to capitalize on the market.

| I new to yorkie talk too, and i'm not sure exactly how it works but, I do know that I wouldn't pay 5000-8500$ for a puppy. While they are priceless, there breeders shouldn't be exploiting people. 8500$ is a car....I don't know if any of you guys have tried, but I can't drive my yorkie pup Tucker. |

I don't think it's okay. Your Forum has requirements and they should be met. As far as the price, In my opinion the seller is out for the money and not the well fair of the pup. There's times I lower my price, because I in my heart I know the buyer is going to give my pup a Good Home.

| and i agree with a lot of other posters, when you haven't become attached to the baby, it is hard to shell out 8500$, but after they've become "yours", your willing to pay any amount of time and money to keep them healthy and safe. I love my tucker Tuck!!! |

| these are really old pictures of him at 9 weeks old that his breeder sent us. He's now exactly 3 1/2 months as of yesterday. He's my first yorkie and a cutie pa- tootie. Also does any one have any idea what color he's going to be as an adult. his mother was blonde, and his father was tan and black? He now has a little silver on his face, a bronze tan, and blonde on the very top of his head, and his body is dark brown, and black, with dark tannish/orangish legs. He's gorgeous, well at least I think so looooooooool. If you guys could help me I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!!!! |

| I just invited a friend to join this forum, and I'm so ashamed of this thread I hope she hasn't joined yet. Shame on you for the things you've said about this puppy. CJ |
