| That's too bad. I don't have any experience in this type of thing but maybe you could get a hold of the California Veterinary Association to put the information out in a bulletin? If she was taken to a vet for any reason perhaps they could track her.

| I would contact all the vets in the area personally, it has been months. I would ask if they have seen her, and ask that they go back to July to look. Also the animal shelters.

| I agree. Make sure they know she had a chip. Chipped dogs reported lost should be treated like a stolen or lost credit card, held and reported. I hate to say it but I think your 'friend' sold her. |

| I too would suggest this but she posts from South Dakota and her dog was in Hayward,CA. unless I'm confused. Going there personally would be better if she could swing it.

| Are you positive she is missing? I mean what kind of "friend" would keep a secret like this for so long? I am so sorry to hear, I can't imagine how you are feeling. A similar situation happen to a friend of mine, a breeder. She had one of her female dogs at a friends and the friend made up a whole huge lie about the dog running away too and having to be put to sleep. Well after lots of investigating she found out that this dog was kept outside for 6 months tied to a pole. The dog got out and a nice family found her and sent her back on a plane to the breeder. The lady was lying all along and wasn't a true friend. I would definitely contact every vet, shelter and rescue in that area as well as ads in the paper and online. I would definitely put LARGE CASH REWARD! |

| Oh Natalie, this is awful! I live 10 minutes drive from Hayward and on 4th of July, animal control were out everywhere in the bay area picking up stray dogs that were freaked out by fireworks. I know that because dh and I steered one away from traffic. I hope you find him/her.

You need to stop blatantly lying to everyone here and shedding crocodile tears to them when you yourself told her not to worry about it. That dog was lost over a year and a half ago and you were aware of it when it happened then...NOT a week ago as you claim. | |

| lost Dog You must know the person that lost the dog. Thats not what her room mate told me. I was just going by information given to me by her room mate that lived with her at the time.

| Natalie, I WAS living with her at the time of this incident and was IN the room when she called you on the phone the day it happened and told you about your dog. You knew about this dog a year and a half ago, NOT a week ago as you claim.. Did you forget that you sent your friend a letter dated 9-9-09 acknowledging the REAL date this happened, with your signature? I dont know how you can continue to lie here and even insinuate that I gave you false information. You are well aware that you and I have NOT communicated about anything having to do with your dog, so dont try to put words in my mouth that I NEVER spoke to you. You need to stop this insanity and lies before you get sued for slander and harrassment. You know why you are doing this and so do I, this is all based on personal issues between you and your friend that has absolutely nothing to do with business or the yorkies. | I'm intrigued ... but in all honesty, you guys would be better sorting this out off-board. I don't know what's going on here, but hate when these issues develop into public slanging matches.
