I was totally unware she still had one dog let alone 80! What is going on? I am confused are they needing homes or places for the dogs to stay? Is that the problem? I am reading from others involved this is one of the worst cases of animal cruelty many have ever seen. SO, why are they leaving dogs in her care?

I am also upset that pictures and vet records would not suffice as evidence so those babies that are in shelter custody could receive the medical attention they need! How miserable they must be feeling. Why keep them in pain and discomfort so they can serve as 'evidence'?
Take some freakin pictures and write it down!!!!!! Is that not enough!?!?

You need to understand the LAWS!!!!!! Pull up the laws for this state and your own for that matter...you will be shocked at what goes on. You want to help...start a letter writing campaign to the legal system in the state. Get the state to change the laws...

I am surprised how many members are from TN...you need to form a group to learn and understand why puppymills are allowed to exist in your state and what it takes to close down these places. You need a plan of action to write letters to your legal system. There is power in numbers are you can make a change.

Go for it and save a few dogs. You will feel great.

That is so true! It may take a while but if there are enough people bugging the crap out of some State Representative or State Senator, something will eventually happen. I'll be moving to TN (Memphis area) in less than 5 months. I will look up the laws there. Being an outsider, I'll need to make friends with people who would be interested, and who also will have the TIME to help see things through.

Well don't forget they just closed a Memphis shelter (not a rescue) because of the care that was going on there....might be a lot of people upset with what is going on in TN.

How people who treat animals like this can lie down at night and fall peacefully asleep is beyond me, they truly must not have a conscious.

I was just talking about that last night with my FH (he lives there) He says there is a lot of stuff that needs to be change there in regards to animals and their safety.

Sorry, not you but the laws upset me as they do not protect the dogs but the breeder.

No problem.

I agree, we (myself included) should be more informed about an issue we are so passionate about. There are several active cases in TN right now dealing with animal cruelty so this is as good of time as any to voice our beliefs.
