| Puppy Cut issues Ok, I have been researching what a puppy cut is and how to cut one myself and I am just not finding any good resources out there. This is what I found How To Groom A Yorkie Videos and I'm sorry but I can't believe this lady has been grooming for as long as she has. To me, that is NOT a puppy cut. Does anyone know where I can find a good video? Youtube wasn't much help either unless I didn't do the right search. Thanks!!! |

| I think I watched the same video, the lady shaved him down to his skin, not a puppy cut. I figured I could do just as good if not better. I used a # 7 blade on my Andis clippers for the body & legs and a little on the face. They came out okay. Each time I'll get better. I have five so I can't justify the $50.00 plus tip per dog bill.

| Wow, that was pretty sure... I would say that's a summer cut right there.

| Thanks! I will try a 7 on my furbutts. I see lots of cuties on here with what I think is called a teddy bear cut? Is that like a puppy cut but where the face looks more round because the hair is cut more round? That is adorable! I would love to be able to achieve that. And 5 dogs??? You are saving a bundle grooming them yourself and you are absolutely right, each time you will get a little better. I know the first time I groom them, they are going to look pretty goofy. Good thing they are awfully cute. |

| I am not sure if this is the type of cut you are looking for, but marcerella02 has a sticky under the grooming forum, and she has a video that shows you how to cut your yorkies hair. I thought the video was very good, and her puppies hair looks like it was cut by a groomer. It looked very cute. |

| Yeah, she was rough on that pup. Especially when she's grabbing his tail to shave his rear end. |
