| Harness by Susan Lanci at G.W. Little I'm concerned that the soft harness vest that I use when walking Max puts too much pressure on his lower throat. Does anyone have the soft step-in harness by Susan Lanci sold at G.W. Little? Susan Lanci Dog Harness in Soft Ultrasuede Step-In Design - GW Little Does anyone have experience with something similar? I am wondering if it is sturdy enough for a strong puller like Max -- would hate for him to spot a squirrel and tear right out of his vest, never to be seen again. |

| We have a harness made by Chattiesmom, a member here. It's great. We have the one with a ring on the front as well as the top. Snoopy's a puller, and the front hook is perfect.

| I hadn't seen this. I like it alot as I worry about the harness I have also. It fits loosely around their necks but I just worry about anything that may potentially pull on them. The other thing is that Hot Rod really doesn't like putting it over his head to take it off or put it on for that matter.

| I have been eyeballing this one forever Pet Harnesses - Dog Harness, Soft Harness, Harnesses & Leashes, Leads, Dog Walking, Leather, Large Others here have reported they loved it, and to order one inch bigger than your dog measures. I am just waiting for Luna to stop her crazy growing lol. I am not fond of anything on the front of the neck, even if they tout it does not put pressure on the dog's throat I don't trust them.

I wouldn't mind having a couple of different kinds of harnesses in Max' wardrobe.

How old is your Luna? Max turns 1 this month and he appears to have stopped growing. He'll probably have another growth spurt right after I invest in a lot of non-adjustable gear.

| Luna is 5 months and a food whore. She has almost tripled her weight in the last three months lol. I was worried about the chaffing and the velcro wearing out but in the thread where it was discussed people seemed to think it was fine. For now I am using a step in harness I bought at Petsmart. And guess what? She has almost outgrown it! I will need to get her the bigger size pronto. She just got her rabies shot and the last of the puppy shots so she is finally ready to take walks. I have heard good things about chattiesmom silk harness as well. I think they are the same style Luna is in now.
