| After reading this, I got sick to my stomach. It was really sad. I am so sorry that there are people out there that actually do this kind of stuff. I am sure some aren't even aware. Makes me want to get closer to my dogs!

| Ok now I'm sitting here crying that was so sad. Anyone getting a dog should have to read a copy of that before being allowed to take the baby home.

| There are so many people who get a pet with no idea what is involved in their raising or care. A friend wanted a jack russel terrier until I studied it for her and pointed out that it was such a wild dog and not for her at all. My niece wanted one of my puppies to take back to college with her, I asked her 'how much time do you have to take care of this puppy?' She realized it was 'none.' If people just gave the least amount of thought to getting a puppy it would make all the difference in the world. How big it will be, how much are you really at home. Not just how cute the little puppy is. Pets are not disposable.

| I look at my furbabies and it makes you realize how much love you have for them that you just can't picture them in a situation like that (ever). But this is reality for most dogs and cats. It's a sad and cruel world. |

| That is so sad, but so true! Im dealing with just this right now! My BF's 22 year old daughter moved in with her boyfriend, and she got a puggle,, well 2 months later she getting rid of it,,cause SHE PEES on the floor, SHE IS 3 months old! And her Bf said she has to get rid of her... So she is barely trying to find her a home,,, If she cant " I'll just take her to the pound" !! So of course this has consumed me for 2 days trying to find this dog a home,,, and she probably isn't trying at all! I printed out this poem, and I'm gonna give it to her! I knew it was a mistake when she got his puppy! SHe can barely take care of herself, let alone another living creature! Am I mad......YES!!!

| thanks.....now I need to go get some tissues. that's a good wake-up call letter to post in public. In fact, I'm going to print it out and take it to our groom shop tomorrow morning and post it on our board.
