There are so many people who get a pet with no idea what is involved in their raising or care. A friend wanted a jack russel terrier until I studied it for her and pointed out that it was such a wild dog and not for her at all. My niece wanted one of my puppies to take back to college with her, I asked her 'how much time do you have to take care of this puppy?' She realized it was 'none.' If people just gave the least amount of thought to getting a puppy it would make all the difference in the world. How big it will be, how much are you really at home. Not just how cute the little puppy is. Pets are not disposable. |
