I'm pretty careful to take Reesie aside and cuddle her if the pit mix is on his way through to go outside. He's very strong and I've seen him take his big mitt and try to stomp on the little one. Cindy is a Border Collie mix, 11 years old, and takes no crap from him. She'll eat the face off of anything that gets close to the Yorkie. Together they're like little sister/big sister. And Reesie, LOL, she thinks she's a BIG dog with big teeth!

my aunt has a purebreed APBT and he is so sweet even with gatsby he dose get upset when i dont let him down to play but i just wont take that risk he is so big however my aunt cannot have other pets he terrerizes them he dose not bite never has and i dont imagine he ever will but he barks and growls and lunges untill the new animal will not eat and she is forced to get rid of the new pet

Such a sad story. I always thought that if a dog attacked someone that it would be PTS. Is that true or only if it's not UTD on rabies?

The thing I heard them say was they are quaranteened for rabies, but that was my very thought. If they don't have rabies, are they going to give them back to do this again???

Geez I really hope not. How many times are they gonna have to attack people and dogs until they take them away from this man? From the article it seems like they've done it before.

Ok here is the latest, all 3 dogs are going to be put down as the authorities have documented over 12 attacks linked to them.

Wow. I'm so surprised it took over 12 attacks for the authorities to finally do something. Poor dogs too, if they had been properly raised maybe none of this would have ever happened.

So strange that as all of this has come up, the following happened at my front door the two days ago. I was about to pull into my driveway, when two men walked by with these HUGE ROts. Beautiful animals really,.

Anyway one guy had this huge vest like thing thrown over his dog with these huge iron weights in two big side pockets. The dog was walking very slowly as it was weighed down with these weights.

Now why would a "pet" have to have muscle mass like an athlete??? The other man had nothing on his, but they were both together. I never saw them in my neighborhood before. I felt sorry for the dog.

it's the owner's fault, not the dogs'. I have friends and family that own pitbulls. One of my friend's pitbulls is very well trained and is well acclimated to be around dogs as well as other animals. My cousin's pit is also a sweatheart but is dog-aggressive ( but not cats for some reason). She knows this so she keeps a eye on her whenever she takes her places where she knows other dogs are going to be

Tracey Lambert says "they tore our fence up to get into the backyard to get to both of my dogs."

I saw this with my own eyes with my neighbor's pit. I pulled the planks off the fence to get to my yorkie like it was paper from a notebook. I watched it with my own eyes.
