Bijou is so spoiled that she will even fuss at her doggy brothers when they run faster than her. Every morning when they go outside she starts yipping and barking like a spoiled little toddler saying, "No, Me! I'm first! I'm first!" Funny thing is the other dogs let this little one run all over them. If they have a toy and Bijou wants it Bijou gets it. They are so funny! |

When I come home from shopping, all three (and sometimes the cats too) run over to the bags, but sushi is the one that actually digs into them. And if she doesn't find a treat or toy or chewie (which most of the time she does) she grabs something else and runs away. She is the fastest, so the other ones can't catch up with her :) she definitely rules the house:) |

bump to the top I like this thread |
I just got a few more today... We went to a pizza buffet today for lunch, and I snuck out a few baby carrots and a slice of cucumber for Uni. She loooves cucumber, but she refused to eat this one. Why? Because it's not a PERSIAN cucumber. She will only eat persian cucumbers! Also today, I went to refill her bowl with fresh cold water, but she didn't SEE me pour the water in. I offered it to her and she didn't drink any. So I pretended to pour some more in while she was watching me do it, and guess who drank a bunch of water after that? |
Dear Uni Auntie Marilyn does not even know what a perisian cucumber is. |

Don't you know? Persian cukes are little shorty ones that have barely any seeds and are more sweeter and never bitter like those big scary looking ones! Mommy makes pickles out of them sometimes too but I'm not allowed to have any cuz she puts all kinds of onion and garlic and spices and stuff in it. Anyway, mommy buys them at the new market that sells all kinds of cool international foods, that's how come I'm such a foodie, but she calls me spoiled. BTW, I type good cuz I use spell check. Love, Uni |
Dear Uni, I'm assuming that Auntie can find these fancy dancy cucumbers at say whole foods or fresh market right??? Ok I will have to taste these since you personally recommend them. |
This is a good one. My furbutts has to have their bully sticks cut up in very, very fine shreds. They will bring it to us and will stare at us and do their little whinning thing, like mommy do it, do it now, cut it up now!!! So I have this wire cutter and I get their bully sticks and cut it up in little tiny shreds and they love it. But their not spoiled:p |

Sounds like spoiled needs to be added to the breed description. Maddie MUST have baby carrots in her food before she will eat it. I made the mistake of not telling my mom this once while she was staying a few days with her. She went 2 days without eating, threw up the yellowish bile. Still wouldn't eat. I told my mom the trick and when she did this Maddie gobbled up every bite! BTW, they must be cut into just the right size. Not too big, and heaven forbid you make them too little! LOL Her worst spoiled habit however is going wwwaaayyy out to the edge of the yard to do her business. Seeing how far she has to come back she decides she'll wait it out, lays down on her back, belly up and waits for me to come carry her back! NOT fun on these cold mornings!!:thumbdown |
Dear Maya, Mommy doesn't go to Whole Foods cuz there isn't one nearby, but I think so. Her fancy new market is called Wholesome choice and it is a middle eastern market, but with lots of other stuff too, like from asia, russia, india, and some other places I never heard of. I only eat persian cukes, they are never never bitter! I hate bitter stuff yuk! Love, Uni |
The quality inspector has taken to stealing the whipped cream from everybody else's bowls before they can get a chance to eat it! They all wanted out the other day and raced to the porch door, and 2 tried to get through the little doggy door at the exact same time! Thought I was looking at a vet bill for a minute! They bounced off the door and each other, argued for a bit and decided single file was best! I'm learning all kinds of stuff on this thread. Let's see, we learned some Tennesee slang (I didn't know what 'being through' meant either) and we're going to find some Persian cucumbers and eat them! And, no, I don't think Tinkerbell is named after a sushi. |
