   Taking them out to go potty will help and they will not pee so much in the belly band. A good wipe down when you change the pad also I use satin also nicer on the coat, I make all my belly bands and use poise pads also. more expensive but much better absorbant and you will not have the pee smell as much. Well worth the extra money | |

				 |  belly bands  Hi...I actually designed my own belly bands for Sammy...and i use the walmart brand femine pad (super ultra thin).  during the day while i'm at work he hangs out in my puppy proofed bathroom but whenever he's out of the bathroom and we are home he's wearing his belly bands.  I take them off when he goes outside but as soon as he comes back in on it goes.  They are great!  he hasn't had an accident since we started using them!    |
