| I have only had Samson groomed once so far and the girl that does it has a business where she comes to your house and does it out of her truck thing that's all equipped inside. She charges $45 which I think is a little high for this area but it does include the convenience of her coming to you (she doesn't charge extra for gas) and she does the following: nails clipped, bath, dry, cut, ears cleaned, teeth brushed. I gave her a $10 tip because I kinda know her, she used to work where I work, and she seemed really taken aback and didn't want to accept it, maybe because her price is a little high, but I told her to keep it. Samson was quite the wiggle worm and she had her hands full. I don't know if I'll give her that much every time because it can get pretty expensive, especially since I want to get him done again because he's growing out a little and he just looked so darn cute after she cut him!!! ![]() I don't really mind that she charges a little more because I can be there with her while he's getting groomed. Another place I was going to take him is probably cheaper but they won't let you stay. Having piece of mind that he's o.k. and is treated well is worth the little bit extra money. | WOW!! Some of you guys pay a lot to take your babies to the groomers!! I take Lacy and Cruz to the same groomer. She charges me between $10 and $12 to groom Lacy! And I bought Cruz from her so she does him for free until he's a year old!! I always tip her $10. |

| I live in Fl and I tip service job at 20%, however, my groomers charge $25 for each dog and I tip them each $6 or $7. I try to be generous with them because they do such a great job. And, I ill get Christmas presents too. |

| As a hairdresser-- I know the importance of tips!!! I always give at least 20%!!! THe lady who USED to do Luigi, I would give her 10.00 tip, cuz I always thought he looked great...(but now I have to find someone new!) But I even forgot an appt once, (shame on me) and I brought her a candle and I tipped her for the appt I missed and the current appt! i know she was busy and since I know what it is like to have someone not show up, I had to make sure she knew I was soo sorry. And yes, Holiday gifts are very appreciateive too--or a very generous tip for that appt!!!!!

| We're loyal to petsmart ever since my pom started going there for grooming and it's been almost two years now. I use to tip $7 until we started taking Pickles there too. Now we tip $10 for both of them. It gets pretty expensive once you add it all up but it's worth it really. I can see how they've been good in handling my furbabies and I even get some services for free |
