Ban gas chambers in the u.s.!

People don't know this goes on, I had no idea and I can bet'cha that anyone I know don't have a clue either. I am going to be telling anyone and everyone that will listen to me starting with my friends and family. I HAD NO CLUE!!! I feel like an idiot and I'm MAD!!!! And then there are some people that won't believe it because it is just so horrific and they don't want to think that humans can be so cruel to animals. Maybe something can be posted on UTube, I don't know how to do it, but man, will it get people to see the truth.

I am glad you are mad...your passion could save a dog if you are willing to continue to spread the word about this and puppy mills.

I am fairly certain it is on You Tube along with some other horrifying links about euthanasia....I saw one on cyanide poisoning. I did not stay on there long enough to see what happened. And...no clue where it was done.

Well, Yorkietalk is a very large community, and many of our members have access to other forums and outlets. My point is that I'm not sure the average Yorkietalker even knows this is happening. The way one member responded on another thread about this led me to believe that people aren't as aware of this as I thought. While laws may get passed state by state, people from different states often inform and influence those people.

Sometimes we tend to think everyone knows what we know, and I just thought lots of people knew, but not enough thought it was bad enough to be stopped.

It hasn't stopped puppymills but if more people know and are willing to write letters and send donations to organizations that are working on this then fantastic.

Your right this is nothing new at all, But there are people/ members that have not even heard of it. thats why we need to get the word out to as many as we can. as nig as YT is thats a start.

This practice needs to stop. being killed in a gas chamber is terrifying for the animals and heartbreaking for the humans involved. its disturbing and heartbreaking, just knowing thousands of dogs, cats were forced in and left to die simply for not being wanted. and there will be more and more until puppy mills and BYB are stopped. Other animals also suffer —being warehoused for years Confined to cages for years on end, they go insane out of loneliness and confinement. Many more unwanted animals are simply abandoned to suffer and die on city streets or in rural areas. There simply are not enough good homes for all the animals being born." but they need to at least be humane! and use lethal injection over the gas chamber. Lethal injection properly administered to sedated animals delivers death rapidly compared to a gas chamber. The latter takes a minimum of 20 minutes and it is not uncommon for it to take as long as 45 minutes, depending on the size, age and health of the animal. Sometimes it is necessary to gas an animal two or three times before they die.
The reason why these horrific "gas chambers" are used is because they are CHEAP. It costs money to at least humanely euthanize these animals,it needs to be outlawed .
Many States have banned gas chambers but there are still a lot who still use this method. These poor animals can not speak for them selves. we need to be their voice. Please help us and sign this petition. lets make our voices be heard. doing nothing will not change any thing. people have voiced their opinions on this and many have changed because of it.


God Rest the Souls of the Animals who Suffered and died in the gas chambers. God Heal the broken Hearts of the Rescuers. Help us find the strength to fight another day for the animals.
