| Yup! BF tells me how they don't even greet him when he comes to my house, they run past him and stare out the door until I get there. Its sad sounding. I do love that they miss me, but I hope they are happy though after awhile if I'm not there.

| This topic is so funny. I am so bonded with my Coco. Sometimes she won't eat unless i'm there. I'm afraid to go anywhere. We are trying to plan a weekend trip to Disney this weekend and are searching out dog friendly places to stay. My hubby hates that are traveling has come to a hault |

| Uni does it too! A few years ago we went to vegas for a few trade shows that were back to back. We were gone for almost 2 weeks! My MIL said everytime Uni heard a car drive by she would run to the door and wait there, but we never came in. She said she would cry at the door. When we finally cam home, we opened the door (by this time she probably thought we had abandoned her) and she was on the back of the couch looking at us like, Is it really them??? Her head and ears were down but her tail was going crazy! After a few minutes of hugs and kisses she knew we were home for good! I missed her like crazy, like I was gonna be sick if I didn't see her soon, I only wonder how SHE felt!

| Oh yes - both of my boys are like that! When my husband leaves for work every day, Joey and Tank (but mostly Joey) go to the patio door and watch as their daddy leaves them, and then the crying begins... Then...when I get home at night, they are so excited - they jump all over the place, run laps around the living room, and come give me kisses till I have to get away from them to say hello to my husband, haha. I try SO hard not to make comings and goings a big thing, but they are the ones who get so overexcited about it. They both do have pretty severe separation anxiety (they are home alone about 7 hours monday through thursday, and about 5 hours on fridays), and it's very rough on us all, as I try everything to make it not a big deal, but they still freak out.

| Our Sophie misses both of us when we leave, too. When DH leaves for work she runs to the stairs and gives him kisses every morning and waits for him on top of the couch looking out the window every evening until he comes in the door and then gives him tons of kisses. He tells me she does the same thing, looking out the window, if I'm gone to the store. We are planning a trip for 10 days to Jamaica in February and I worry about how she'll be in our absence. We have only been separated once over night. Our yorkie "Baby" (r.i.p.) would give us the cold shoulder as punishment for about 15 minutes when we came home from a vacation and then finally forgive us and shower us with kisses. She hated to see the luggage come out. It was only once a year we went without her but it still always made me feel bad. Jackie & my Sophie . |

| My three oldest ones lay on the back of the couch looking out the window waiting for my return, even if some one is home with them. The two little ones can't get on the couch, but I'm sure when they are old enough, they will be right there.

| Mine do something similar. My bf says that when I'm out of town on a business trip the dogs constantly are going to the door and waiting and they stay up really late like they're waiting for me to get home.
