Yes, you made a mistatement.
Yes, it was corrected.
It was a simple matter, so what was the big deal about it?

No disrespect intended, but if you feel like you are being "ganged up on", then I think that is very unfortunate, but please don't lump me into the category of "coming out of the woodwork." I speak for myself alone and assume that everyone else here possesses the mental capacity to do the same without my help. If people have similar opinions, that does not mean that there is a conspiracy to 'join forces' against someone based on some concocted personal agenda. It's like a John Grisham book gone bad!

The remark was made, to those who did not agree with the one who made the remark.

Yet that same person was thanking you and one other person (who also joined in the conversation this morning) for making comments that appeared to be favorable.

That was the point I was making.

I was not commenting on what you had said. Just that for all the people that had not commented before, that posted to this thread this morning, some of them were thanked, and others had 'crawled out of the woodwork"

I found it a little two sided.

It seems that at this point everyone is just jumping to the conclusions that everything that is said is directed at them personally. Which is not the case.

I find the entire discussion so riduculous that it is amusing.

we're arguing over whether 12 pound yorkies end up as rescues. there are bigger problems out there.

Being one of the only 2 people that you mention has having been "thanked," let me just point out that I did NOT "also join in the conversation this morning." I posted 2 days ago in response to the actual question posted by the OP--well before any of this silliness began.
Furthermore, it's not 'jumping to an conclusion' when you are mentioned by name or addressed directly. So again, please do not use me to make your points.

See there again, the "jumping to conclusion " was not directed at you. It was a general statement, I had finished with my comment to you.

So sorry for misunderstanding. You'd addressed me directly in response to something I'd said...given the overall vagueness of your responses, I'm sure you can understand how it's easy to misunderstand. Regardless to who you truly menat for, my name was mentioned in a certain context which you have now confirmed 3 times.

I'm sorry, to keep responding, but I feel the need to defend myself (heaven only knows why!) because I feel as if my intent is being purposely miscontrued to serve some other agenda. Yes, I posted early in the thread, and like I do with most threads I post in, I tend to follow them as the conversation progresses, just as I did with this one. I did post again this morning in a manner that I thought was and intended to be very neutral--stating that what had been said that had upset so many was not that big a deal, that it was being blown out of proportion and *trying* to draw attention back to the original purpose of this thread. And now suddenly because of someone else's response, I'm being 'patted on the back 'and 'coming out of the woodwork' to participate in a petty arguement that you feel is on a "personal level."

Yes, to answer your question, we are "all clear now." It is perfectly "clear" that I should have never tried to be the voice of reason to get people to see that we are all on the same page as far as the OP's dog is concerned. But hey, at least we can agree on how ridiculous this whole thing has gotten.

Geez, newsflash...generally speaking, there is no amount of money you could pay me to purposely get involved in the kind of arguing that has taken place here. Thank you on the correction!! I guess thing's have changed quite a bit in 19 years, as that's how long it's been since I've registered, I thought to be AKC registered they had to fit into the AKC standard. But back then I didn't know of any other kind of registration. Still learning
