Newbies here Hello everyone!!! I'm new here on the site and wanting to make life long friends here This will take me awhile to get used to being that I'm not very computer literate But I will try my best to post. Dh and I just bought our daughter a yorkie for her first birthday which will be on Saturday!!! We've had her about a week and a half. Her name is Lola and she's 4 months old. We are in the process of potty training which I can say hasn't been that bad but challenging at times. Comes with the territory right?? anyhow it is VERY nice to meet all of you and look forward to sharing stories and adventures as well...many blessings

Welcome to YT. Yorkies are such fragile little ones, I am sure you realize you have to watch your new pup around the brithday girl. Both are still babies and need to be monitored at all times. Congratulations and Happy Birthday to your little girl.

Thank you for posting...Yes I have thought long and hard about even adding an addition to our family because of the fact that my child is very small. The decision to get a dog has been a lengthy one for me. I realize that both of my children are very small so we are constantly supervising their every move. The only thing we have to contend with are the toys they both want the same one!! It's pretty cute though watching them play together though. My heart is very happy with the decision to have Lola in our family..... Thanks for the birthday wish
