. As others have suggested, maybe a "yorkie rescue train" can help with getting the little guy to his new Forever Home. Nice pup and thank you and hubby for opening up your

I have to tell you as I read your post I just chuckled away! I so have been there, when I went to pick up Lily I had to get there quick because they had someone else coming. Hubby thought he'd have months LOL. Anyway the husbands adjust

And so will new puppy!

Maybe you could call him Jubilee

Happy 50 girl. You sound so much like me...I tell David(my husband) the facts after..Where is this baby? My daughter lives in Bethesda. Can she help transport for you. Maybe we can get someone near to get him out of that place for you...Let see what can happen....Lov Ya ....Lissette....

My husband and I are getting up at 2am Sunday so we can be on the road by 3

I should get their about 10 or 11. Google map said about 7 hour drive. Good thing I have Monday off so I can spend time with him. (Still thinking about a new name) I'll post photos as soon as I can.

I had to go over and see Viper before posting. He is sooooo handsome!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you a thousand times for rescuing him. I could believe they put a date on him! It always breaks my heart to see that. I am so happy that you are opening up your home and your heart to him. I'm not good at picking a name off the top of my head. I have to put some thought into it. If he was a she Journey would be good as your traveling on a long journey to get him LOL I wish I lived in the area so I could have helped make your train. He will be well worth the trip!!!! Congratulations and I'm sure your other babies will love him too!!!

Congrats on your new member of your family. There are too many animals in shelters today. I believe it is better to rescues than to buy. Altho, I got my lil Gizmo from someone who had purchased him. She was unable to give him the time and attention he needed. I visited with her and she let me have Gizmo for $400. I got him neutered at 4 months young. I have had him for almost two years.
The next time I get an animal companion it will definitely be thru a shelter.
