For the record I WILL NOT be removing Tias teddy just because she gives it an occasional hump, I will continue to tell her no, shes well behaved and she listens.

I said that the MARKING was the other reason for not wanting a boy. But I have never had a neutered male that marked. I did however have a spayed female that marked. And for the record, I don't care if you allow your dog to have her teddy. I was telling the OP that if she wants to stop the behavior to tell him no and remove the object. If you don't want them to stop then let them have the object. The advice was given for those who wanted to stop it.

You stated that you were going to continue to allow your dog to have her teddy, I said I don't care. Am I supposed to care? I'm truely sorry that my not caring if your dlog has her teddy upsets you. I don't even know where 'what you plan to do' fits into this thread. This thread is not about you or your dog or your dogs teddy. The OP wanted to know what to do about her dog humping. I suggested that she tell the dog NO and remove the object. Someone else suggested that she take videos of it. I don't even care whos advice she takes. It is her dog.

The "bitter old woman" is just a saying.. Haven't you ever heard of it before? I wasnt implying you were old, thats why I had the " " around it. I was also speaking my mind. I wouldn't say it was name calling.. Now who is acting immature?? You calling me a youngster is about the same as me saying you are acting like a "bitter old woman" isnt it? I am not a youngster, if you knew me you would know as well. I know Nancy doesn't need a "youngster" fighting her battles for her, and I wasn't trying to, I just said that you were rude to say that to her, and I think others think the same. I think you are the one that is getting your "panties in a bunch" and making this bigger than what it is .

i agree that sitting around making a big spectacle show of the humping toys is a little immature and silly, but taking a short video as a mama and laughing a bit that your baby is starting to grow up, it's not so bad and i honestly think Nancy was just kidding about the video anyways, and even if she wasn't...it's just amusing to us. why wouldn't it be, they're cute and little and they think they have all this power over their toy...it's funny. i have to ask, do you find that the natural relations between people disgusting as well. because if i personally was disgusted by all things natural like that, i'd be pretty bored with life. And asking about how I feel about sex?????? What does that have to do with any of this. This has nothing to do with sex. That was out of line and a very inappropriate question. I think some of you have gotten way off the subject here and you are the ones who have blown this out of proportion. I find taking videos of dog humping a toy to be disgusting and immature. Now if you want to do this, that is your perrogative. I still find it disgusting and I would never suggest doing it, to someone who asked what to do about their dog humping a toy. If you read some of the other threads on this subject, you will see that some very well respected people have posted that it should not be allowed because it can cause injury to the dog. His penis could become raw and infected. If you do not find it inappropriate behavior than fine. But telling someone to take videos of it, is inappropriate advice.
