| Sorry guys I will have to disagree with you all on this one. I am the black sheep here I guess I LOVE LOVE LOVE only having Peanut. Here is why I love it - He is my one and only - He goes with me EVERYWHERE - He goes to work with me, everyday - I can give him 110% of my love... he has to share with DH ![]() - We always have our special "play" time on the carpet - He is with me 99.9% of my time - He doesnt have to share anything I honeslty think that Peanut is happier with being the only one. I think he LOVES going to work with me, and that would not happen if I had another Peanut. He loves being with me all the time he is def my little buddy. I think that you are either someone who can have 2..etc yorkies and then I think you are someone who just has one and that makes you happy.

| And that's why I want to get my little Chi a Yorkie sister sometime late this year or early next. She needs a little companion. If I would open the door to my apartment, she would run upstairs to visit my neighbor's doggie. She would scratch at my neighbor's door (talk about embarassing). She even wants to play with this giant Golden Retriever down the street. I feel so bad not having another doggie sister to play with. So I guess for Christmas, she's getting a sister.

| I would have to say that I see both sides. I had Sasha for almost two years before I decided to get him a little brother. I'm lucky that Sasha is not at ALL agressive because his little brother, Simba, is a handful. If Sasha is playing with something Simba tries to take it from him. He'll even try to take food or treats from Sasha. At first Sasha was very moody when I brought Simba home. All he wanted to do was go hang out in a room by himself and he would give me the sad eyes as if to say, "why did you have to bring him home?" He really had to adjust to not being the only "child" anymore. But now 7 months later things are a LOT better. They play together all the time and every once in a while they even curl up together and go to sleep. There have been times that I wished I had stuck with only one dog but as more time goes on I think I made the right choice. |

| I'm sure she will really enjoy a playmate. Best wishes with your search.

| I think two is better than one. Currently, I only have Jackson that is strictly my full responsibility and goes everywhere with me that he possibly can, but he's not really like an "only dog" because I still live at home and up until a few months ago when my mom's dog died, he always had her, and I visit over my dad's house usually 3 nights a week where they have two dogs. So, he's barely ever alone. Once I move out and get my own place, I 100% plan to get him a companion.

| Yorkie Talker | I am worried...is it normal for my female to hump her stuff animal? I thought only males do this, but she looked like a male humping her stuff animal...again is this normal?
