I would have to say that I see both sides. I had Sasha for almost two years before I decided to get him a little brother. I'm lucky that Sasha is not at ALL agressive because his little brother, Simba, is a handful. If Sasha is playing with something Simba tries to take it from him. He'll even try to take food or treats from Sasha. At first Sasha was very moody when I brought Simba home. All he wanted to do was go hang out in a room by himself and he would give me the sad eyes as if to say, "why did you have to bring him home?" He really had to adjust to not being the only "child" anymore. But now 7 months later things are a LOT better. They play together all the time and every once in a while they even curl up together and go to sleep. There have been times that I wished I had stuck with only one dog but as more time goes on I think I made the right choice. |
