9 weeks is fairly normal an age over here for pups to leave their mothers, I do loove the little ones but I get so angry seeing people advertising pups from such tiny parents. Its even worse when this person calls themselves a breeser, no responsilble breeder would allow a male anywhere near such a tiny girl while she was in heat. My Rosie is probably going to make 4lb thankfully, but even that is too small for pups in my eyes, especially as her mom was 6lb, what if they throw a LARGE puppy, it could easily get stuck and kill the mother. If you own a male and female, as the owner its your responsiblity to make sure accidents dont happen and at 3.5lb the male could have easily been castrated.
I do hope everything works out for you and your new puppy, at least if anything goes wrong you and she will be in the right place.

Tia was 13 weeks old when I brought her home. Tias breeder (horrible lady, long story) at least done something right and wouldn't let her pups go until a min of 12 weeks.
To be honest until I joined YT I didn't realize that under that age was too young. I'm so much more educated now and its only been 8 months! Just think how much I could learn in say 2 years lol

yes i am prepered for the tinies and reserached them. Isabelle was smaller then that when i brought her home. she said the main reason the pups are going so early is because she is going to calafornia due to her mom being in really ill.

i know people who have had puppies from this breeder and they have all been very healthy.

yes i do work, im a vet nurse!! my baby will be kept in the isolation unit which is very warm ect when i am at work, until she has had all her jabs.

i will be treating Sapphire exactly the same way as i did Isabellle.

That is great news that you are so prepared. It is always so sad when someone gets into trouble after the fact when they do not have any experience. It sounds like she could not have any better care that to be with you while you are working in a vet office. I wish you lots of luck

thank you everyone! i took Sapphire to the vets and she is healthy apart from being tiny but my vet has looked after Isabelle since i brought her home and he knows she will be very well looked after.

i am off work now for a week so i can settle her in then she will start coming to work with me lol. Isabelle is great with her lol

Congrats on your little one. Just wanted to add that since she's so tiny to watch her for low blood sugar. Have some nutra cal on hand just in case.
