| Grass potty? I am interested in the grass potty- we are moving to an upstairs villa and want to use the balcony (with fencing of course) with the grass potty I think this could work. Any ideas of where to purchase that isnt $150? Or is that the going rate? Any opinions from users? Thanks!

| https://www.buybackyardbuddy.com/ That I think is the cheapest I have seen one. I have seen them for 120-200. Do you want to have in potty trained in the grass? is that why you want one of these? I wanted to get one too, but then I was like its like having a litter box to clean..then I thought to myself how am I going to lug that around to clean it...I would think it would smell more too!! DH and I live in a condo and I didnt want to set it on the patio bc I dont want Peanut to go out and potty when we are not home to watch him...so to me it seems like more hassel than what it is worth. But if you are wanting to train him to go in the grass I think it would be great. Will he be able to go out and use it when no one is home to watch him? Just make sure he has NO way to fall off the patio, you also have to think of things being able to get him when he is on the patio..I doubt it, but you never know! I just try to think of everything that could go wrong and prevent it

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I found one on walmart for about $30.00 that I keep in my enclosed front porch, because my Prada refuses to go out in the yard, when it rains, snows, or is just plain too cold.. she is very spoiled.. and she uses it with no problem. I have a picture for you.. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...ture001-16.jpg |

| Thank you all- I am looking for this to be used because we do use take them outside but after moving we wont have a yard and I want them to still go out and not having to go up and down the stairs- so we will see. I just needed some input and some advice on where to find it for a good price.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Beware of cheap grass turf! The best system to me is therightspotdogpotty.com. She had to substitute the grass I like so ask up front for the original grass she has used for years. I have five Yorkies and one Maltese and they all use the turf with no problems. I used wee pads for 15 years and it got expensive so I switched to turf and its great. There are some big names on the internet and the grass falls apart very quickly.

| The cheapest Ive seen is the potty patch. I think its like 30 or 40 bucks. You should try that one out first... if your baby likes it then you can invest in a more expensive system. I just ordered mine a while back and havent gotten it yet but I will let you know how it goes https://www.pottypatch.com/ver12/index.asp

| okay im going to sound crazy but i have a patch of grass growing in a thin drip pan (like in the bottem of wire cages) a friend returfed his yard and had some grass left over asked me if i wanted it for the dogs so i tryed it and i love it it dosnt smell i water it once a week cut it with kitchen shears and pick up the poop in a poop bag and throw it away the pee is absorbed in the grass i love it because they can go potty when they want and they will still go outside on the real grass if they are with my mom or sister

We have the potty from doggiepottys.com and I like the drainage system. There was a system out there that looked AMAZING but way too much $$$. I was unsure of the size I would need so I orderd the large and wish every day that I had gotten the small!

YT Addict | We're broke! My husband put ours together with some plywood, and some astroturf. Our Boy uses it just fine. We have a few layers going and we rotate them when one layer is being soaked/cleaned. We live on the 4th floor of an apartment and our building doesn't have an elevator. Frankly, we don't have the money for a mechanism, and why buy when you can build? It didn't take that long and it's the same diff. |

| Just what I was thinking! Quote:
Now that we have moved to Oklahoma with HUGE storm (which of course scare the dickens out of her and my lil GiGi starting to share in that fright), soon possibly snow and ice storms I'll be living in poo-pee all winter. My dh seen a info-mercial on that puppy potty patch and he's been looking every where locally for it. My concern was the odor and cleaning of such a system. I was thinking about just using real sod and thought it would work fine, possibly having to replace the sod regularly, but it's worth it to me! How long have you had the same grass growing? I don't have a lot of direct sun light to stimulate groth (that is why I thought I would have to replace it often, but then again i can maybe use some sort of grow lite). I also thought this would be easier to help with potty training my GiGi as she refuses to use a potty pad! I LOVE the idea of real grass! Thank you for sharing you're idea. I figure it would be pretty easy to get a system together just by going to Home Depot...lol
