My Lillie is still a baby and I'm hoping she has some good hair! Right now I use ABBA Shampoo and Conditioner (Its a little pricey -- but I use it for myself too!) I wasn't sure if I could use human stuff, but this is 100% vegan and organic and smells SO good and she doesn't seem to mind it, and it makes her coat so shiny even though my baby has somewhat curly hair) ;-) It even makes her smell good for a whole week! Everyone who picks her up says "Oh man she smells so good!" I love that!

I had some really good mentors many, many years ago and then practiced by myself, watched others, and read articles on it. It takes practice.

Your babies are stunning. Do you always spray them with something before you brush? I have read that you should never brush their coat when it is dry...But when I spray her it leaves her coat dull. If so, do you mind sharing what you use. Thanks.

I do not brush in between shampoos much. If I do I mist with water and conditioner mix. I do use a light oil mix in their rinse water if I am growing out a show coat. Never brush a dry coat, it tends to pull the hair and break off ends.

Here is a picture of Jazzie's hair, it seems her hair grows fast, she has had several trims to keep it off the floor. She is 2.50, Lexie is 11 months.
