Let me ask you, When you groom its only around the eyes, ears and feet? I have noticed my groomer trimming around the eyes and now that mine have not been groomed in a while the hair around the eye near the bridge of the nose is growing in and looks awful? Your dogs are Beautiful! | |

| I trim about the 1/4 of the ear at the top. I do not trim further down the edge or the back of the ear. I do trim more of just the inside of the fron of the ear not messing with the edge. |

I do not have groomers. I prefer to groom my dogs myself, since many groomers do not really know how to groom a yorkie and may dry out their coat or trim them where they should not be trimmed. The only one of my yorkies that I trim at the bridge of the nose is my Kee, but she is cut down. The others I let their hair grow and pull up in a topknot. I do trim their ears and the bottom of their feet and scissor around their feet to make that circle. I am not young and have AR but do groom my yorkies myself. Also, she has teary eyes. Do you feed them the instinct or prairie? The high protein foods are rated well but I'm with you they may be too much protein for some.
