| Membership? Does anyone know how to become a YTCA member??? I have searched the sign and can't figure out how to join. Do you have to be nominated or requested to join or how does it work? Hope this is ok to ask this question here?

| If you read under the YTCA Constitution and By-Laws it will explain it. Basically you can only join if you know someone that is a member of the YTCA and they have to sponsor you and it is also required that they make a couple of visits to your home. A good way to start is to join a local yorkie club or breed club or attend some shows and try to meet some members that way. It is a slow process and you have to win the trust of the members. | There a member of the YTCA in your area and that is Nealstar. You can go to the YTCA website and look under "Breeder Contact" and you can find all the YTCA members in the Texas area. Perhaps they can mentor you. I know where you live the is only one show a year in Corpus Christi that I know of and there are usually just a couple of yorkies entered. Good luck, just be patient. If this is your goal it will take a huge commitment from you and it will take time. Last edited by bjh; 09-26-2009 at 08:13 AM. |
