Basically you can only join if you know someone that is a member of the YTCA and they have to sponsor you and it is also required that they make a couple of visits to your home. A good way to start is to join a local yorkie club or breed club or attend some shows and try to meet some members that way. It is a slow process and you have to win the trust of the members.
Wow that's really hard where I'm located. I totally understand though how that would work. If there is someone close to me and this is something that could be possible I would really like to know and get more information and hopefully set up a homevisit? If there is someone close who can please do this I would really appreciate it, as it is we don't have many breeders in this area and I believe my dogs could be show quality I just don't have to time or knowledge enough to know what I need to for my dogs to attend shows. KWIM? I would like mine to get trained as therapy dogs as well because I have a lot of health issues.
