| What kind of shampoo are you using? Are you bathing him a lot? You should be using a "oatmeal" based pet shampoo.. That will help with the dryness.. If you are bathing him a lot, that will happen. You should be bathing him like once every 2 weeks. That happened to Peanut when he was a puppy, I was bathing too much and his skin was getting dry and flakey.

| Hot Rod had dry flaky skin really bad. On him I use a medicated shampoo and medicated conditioner. It has since cleared up. I don't know if it was that or switching his food did it but he is fine. His ears used to be so bad that big flakes of skin would come off!

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | I bath Tia once a month. She really doesn't smell and could go longer. You really don't need to overdo it. My border collie got bathed once every 6 months! Dogs have natural oils in their skin that keep them clean. We bath them for us not for them I think.Think of our hair , the more we wash it , the more we need to wash it.

| You might want to take a trip to the vet. It might be something that needs medication. |

| I bathe mine once a week, and use a conditioner. It is important to RINSE very thoroughly, as soap residue causes skin irritation.
