I was sooooooooo glad to see this post, because I only bathe Apple every 2 weeks (every other Friday)...I would worry about her developing skin allergies, etc., if I bathed her more often...No doubt she's looking quite ratty by the end of the 2nd week, but I love her anyway lololol

I have to bathe Callie with a special shampoo the vet gave me due to her allergies. Plus she loves to be outside and running around getting dirty and stinky! So once a week we bathe, clean her ears, brush teeth and put oravet on her teeth. She gets really excited when I tell her its bath time and runs up to the upstairs bathroom where I bathe her I seriously have never seen a dog get this excited over a bath lol

Thats very wise. I only do my 9 about every 3 weeks. Some people bathe way way to often. Glad I could help. Ricki

Yup, we bathe Boobah and Gina every Friday night with oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. I blow dry them and then get them into bed! They love their bath!

every 2 to 3 weeks here..with plenty of brushing and combing inbetween. Eye wash more often, as and when needed.

Anywhere between a week and two weeks. We use quality shampoos that do not dry their coat/skin and in in-between bath conditioning spary. In fact, my two at ages 3 and 4 have the best looking coats now at this age!!!!

My 4 girls sleep with me, so I like them clean and smelling goood. Bathing once a week does it for mine, and no skin problems. Use a gentle shampoo that doesn't strip natural oils, and most of all it is important to rinse thoroughly. It is so warm here I don't blow dry, just towel & air dry.

There isn't a single appropriate answer for ALL dogs. It depends on their lifestyle, how dirty & smelly they get and how much you can stand, and the weather, and their skin condition, dry, oily or allergies, etc.
