My 4 girls sleep with me, so I like them clean and smelling goood. Bathing once a week does it for mine, and no skin problems. Use a gentle shampoo that doesn't strip natural oils, and most of all it is important to rinse thoroughly. It is so warm here I don't blow dry, just towel & air dry.
There isn't a single appropriate answer for ALL dogs. It depends on their lifestyle, how dirty & smelly they get and how much you can stand, and the weather, and their skin condition, dry, oily or allergies, etc. |
