| Poor little guy bless his heart! Bone graph! Had no idea the they did graphs for dogs! Now wonder his surgery was $3000! It sure is great that a few YTer have helped with donations . Even a few dollars helps because it all adds up in the end. If you can give only $5 oo and 10 other do too it makes it all the better when a little guy like Rookie can be helped

$3000?!?!? You're so right, Jodi. Every bit makes a difference when it comes to helping these little ones.

| Soooo glad to hear he is doing better. Any prognosis from vet? Can he put weight on it? Will he have much use of it, mobility, etc.? I guess it's the RN in me wanting more info... He is adorable... Thank you to all the hard working rescue people!

| Rookie should heal just fine and have full use of his leg! He had to have a bone graft because this bone was fractured since April. Here is the hospital where the surgery was done. Home I have used them many times in the past and had nothing but great experiences. One of my fosters had been seen by three vets who felt his leg could not be repaired. It was done there with follow up physical therapy and the outcome was great! I would not use a surgeon who is not board certified. Might cost a bit more, but in the long run, well worth it. The surgery and hospitalization cost was $2,600

Tommy is indeed a little doll!! I will bring him to meet Apple one day! I am not sure what the percentage is, but yes, there is a charge. It does not matter what card is used.
